42 East High Street, East Hampton: DBR 15
Driving down Route 66 it is easy to miss Jake’s Café. It is located in a small shopping mall on the south side of the highway, opposite the lake. It has a Victorian-style tin ceiling, is very pubbish, and has friendly ambience. In midweek free food is provided on games night. The food from the kitchen is of high quality and inexpensive. Unfortunately, it is not very ambitious in its draft beer choice; Troutbrook, Sam Adams Boston Lager, Sam Adams Summer ale, Tenpenny Ale, Streich’s Naughty Fish, Bud Lite. Nevertheless, Jake’s is certainly worth a visit.
