Central Village Hotel

Central Village Hotel
278 Main Street
Central Village
Plainfield, CT

This atmospheric bar is situated in a ca. 1840 brick building located adjacent to the old Norwich and Worcester Railroad. The Central Hotel was built to accommodate rail travellers coming to the cotton and woollen manufacturing village, and there has been a bar in the building for over 160 years. There are five beers on draft, Bud, Bud Lite, and Coors Lite. Thomas Hooker and Miller Lite. The Thomas Hooker is worth a try, and the place is well a visit.
