TomTom Beardsley, Ph.D. was Windham's Municipal Historian. He is a native of Doncaster, England and a graduate of the University of Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. He's also a graduate of the University of Connecticut. From 1990 to 1995 he was the Scholar-in-Residence and Director of the Windham Textile and History Museum. He currently writes a weekly local history column in the Saturday edition of Windham's local newspaper, The Chronicle, and teaches American, Connecticut, & British history at several Connecticut colleges.



DavidDavid Rose is a Director of Enstar, an international Internet Technology company, and a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Born in England in the middle of the last century, he is long term resident of the USA married to a Connecticut native. He was raised in Sheffield, (then - still -  in the West Riding of Yorkshire) England, before moving 'down South'. Latterly he lived in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Since 1999 he has been living in Connecticut, 'East of the River', and is always extolling the virtues of his adopted state to anyone who will stand still long enough to listen.
